“What do you fear?” The voice asked. The little girl was blindfolded and tied to a chair. The room was dark. “Is it the spider? Perhaps, you have the fear of enclosed spaces? Could it be the future?” The girl could feel something enter her neck. “I will find out.”
Within the next second, the girl could see. In front of her was a spider the size of a car. She screamed. “Please, please, please! Please, let me out of here…” The girl cried.
The lights went dark. The girl sat down against the wall. “I don’t want to die…” She could hear wicked laughter from all directions. “Please, I don’t want to die!”
The girl could no longer see. She was in the real world. “It seems as if you fear the most simple things, yet so complex.”
The blindfold is removed from the girl’s face. “Do you remember me? Annie, do you? Are you okay?”
Annie could see a woman. “Mother? Id that you?” She began to cry. “I missed you, Mother.”
The woman hugged Annie. “I know. I know.”
“You don’t enjoy seeing your family. You miss the ones you hate.” The voice said. “There is always the annoying kid in the group. When he is gone, everyone seems to miss him.”
Another object entered Annie’s neck. “I will do one more experiment on you for today. What do you enjoy the most?”
“Wake up, Annie. Mum and Dad have a surprise for us.” Annie’s sister said. Annie darted up and out of bed to run to the living room. She saw her mum, dad, aunt, uncle, grandma, grandpa, cousin, brother, and sister. It’s a simple family.
“Why is everyone here?” Annie asked. The family looked at each other with gloomy faces.
“Annie, we’re taking you somewhere. Only you.” Annie’s mother said. “We all wanted to say goodbye. We will never sed you again.”
Annie began to tear up. The tears soaked through the blindfold. “Miss, I understand your pain. They don’t love you, though. They wanted to test you. Your parents only decided not to get rid of you before because they wanted to see how you would turn out. You didn’t turn out perfectly.”
The sound of a buzzsaw echoes through Annie’s ears. “Sorry, Miss. This will hurt quite a lot.”
